Why Frenchay patients come to us
Frenchay residents mostly want two things from a dentist: proper time in the appointment and consistency of clinician. Because we deliberately run longer appointments and keep patients with the same dentist, that is exactly what the practice is built to provide.
There is also the healthcare-adjacent population to consider. A number of our Frenchay patients work at or around the hospital and university campuses, which means unsociable hours and very little tolerance for appointments that overrun. We keep to time, and we offer evening slots for people whose shifts make daytime impossible.
Access matters too. There is no list to join, first appointments are usually available within a week, and we hold urgent slots daily — so a problem does not have to become a crisis before it gets looked at.
