Driving from Oldland Common

Head through Warmley towards Kingswood, then pick up Soundwell Road which runs up to Staple Hill High Street. We are among the shops at numbers 88-90 — around fourteen minutes in normal conditions.

At peak times the A4174 Ring Road is often the better bet: join it near Warmley or Longwell Green and come off at the Staple Hill exit.

There is no car park at the surgery. Public parking off the High Street and the residential roads behind the parade are both a short walk and usually easy to find outside Saturday mornings.

Cycling and buses from Oldland Common

The Bristol & Bath Railway Path runs close to Oldland Common, and following it north-west takes you to Staple Hill traffic-free the whole way apart from a short climb at the end. It is much the nicest way to travel in from this direction.

Buses generally require a change at Kingswood, so most patients from Oldland Common drive.

Keynsham is the closest rail station, a short drive away, mainly useful for relatives travelling in to help someone get to an appointment.

No parking at the practice. Public parking off Staple Hill High Street and the streets behind the shops are both a couple of minutes' walk.

Your first visit

Thirty to forty-five minutes, unhurried. Full history, a proper look at teeth, gums and soft tissues, and X-rays where they are clinically justified.

You will see the images, hear a plain explanation, and leave with a written plan and fixed prices in priority order.
