Buses serving Hillfields connect through to Staple Hill and Downend, dropping you within a short walk of the practice. It is a single journey, which is exactly what makes it workable for patients without a car.

The Bristol & Bath Railway Path passes close to the lower edge of the area and provides a flat, traffic-free route up to Staple Hill for anyone cycling or walking.

Your first visit

The first appointment takes thirty to forty-five minutes and is about understanding your mouth properly: a full history, an examination of teeth, gums and soft tissues, and X-rays where they will tell us something useful.

Afterwards we explain what we found in plain language, with the images on screen, and give you a written plan with fixed prices. The plan is ordered by urgency, so if money is tight you can see clearly what has to happen now and what can wait.

Nerves are welcome to be mentioned. Say so when you book and we will give you longer, go slowly, and stop whenever you need us to.
